Nicholas Sweet, PA-C, is a native Oregonian, having been born and raised in Portland. He received his medical training from Idaho State University. In 2020, he was honored with the Donald A. Pegg award for leadership in lifestyle medicine from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
Nicholas approaches medical care as an opportunity to discover meaningful connections within a patient’s history and current state. His compassionate approach aims to promote understanding, so that patients may learn to proactively manage their own health. He operates under the maxim that one collaborative conversation is often the key to a brighter, healthier future. His ever-present passion for whole-person care is what drives his work at Praxis Health.
Outside of his practice, Nicholas is active in his church, where he volunteers as a piano accompanist. He maintains an active lifestyle with hobbies that include yoga, plant-based cooking, and water sports.
